Yumiko Sekine's search for the every day linens like she had used during her childhood led her to Lithuania, a country that has been producing and exporting linen products from locally grown flax to other European countries since the Middle Ages.
Her first collection started with only seven items. Now after many years, Fog Linen Work produces a large range of linen products for the home and linen clothing. Sekine continues to be inspired to create beautiful simple products for daily use, an approach we admire greatly at Plyroom.
Reflecting the minimalism and sophistication of Japanese design, each item brings pleasure to everyday tasks by thoughtfulness and beauty in the details. At Plyroom we adore Fog Linen Work's quality linen tea towels and aprons that feature timeless checks or stripes and their edit of hand crafted brass objects for the home.
