As we approach the 10 year anniversary of Plyroom, I’ve been reflecting on the life of this small business and its milestones. Before starting Plyroom, I never could have imagined the friendships and connections I would make with our customers and suppliers and how much I would learn along the way. Although unaware I was doing it at the time, Plyroom has been shaped in a way that reflects personal values. I’m incredibly proud of how we prioritise being good people above all.
Ten years on, the concept of simplifying and shaping spaces with thoughtful, understated furniture still rings true. What started as an idea from a beautiful bunk bed made by Totem Italia, has grown into a brand that creates locally made furniture, as well as working with the same designers and makers we started with ten years ago.
You haven’t seen a lot of me personally on our feed, I’m a bit of an introvert and prefer to be in the background, but I thought that this milestone merits sharing an album of our ten years and marking the occasion with a big thank you. Thank you to anyone who has purchased our products, liked our posts, shared words of encouragement with us or mentioned us to a friend. Your kind actions have never gone unnoticed, and they have kept us going!
