Introducing the newest addition to Plyroom’s range of minimalist furniture, Cabine. Cabine was realised out of a need for flexibility. More and more we have recognised a demand for versatile and movable pieces as people embrace smaller living, repurpose their furniture or simply cannot commit to the permanence of inbuilt cabinetry.

Cabine is designed for those seeking a beautiful bespoke cabinetry look combined with flexibility. Inspired by principals of Japanese ryokan architecture and Scandinavian pragmatism, Cabine’s simple Japandi aesthetic means it can seamlessly adapt to any room of the house. It is as appropriate in the kitchen or living room as it used in a modern bedroom.

Inconspicuous cable holes allow for use as a television unit with gliding doors concealing the technology hidden within. Removable legs also allows for it to be wall-mounted meaning there are no restrictions on where in the home it can be used.
Locally made by furniture makers in Melbourne
Working closely with Australian furniture makers, this designer piece is made to order from Forest Stewardship Council certified birch plywood in Melbourne, supporting a philosophy of sustainable living and Australian craftsmanship.
