Dispatching your order

The availability of your product is clearly listed on each product page. Production times are a best estimate and may change at any time. We will keep you updated on your order, however cannot be held liable for any unforeseen delays.  

Out of stock items

If you order an out of stock item, your order will be reserved in our next available shipment. Availability and estimated lead times are captured on each product page. 

Delivery times 

We are committed to getting your items to you as quickly as possible.  Delivery estimates will depend on the item being ordered and your delivery location.  All deliveries are to your front door only. Couriers cannot assist you to carry the items into your home or position in a room.

Pick up from our studio

Our Melbourne studio is open to the public for order collection on an appointment basis. During the checkout process, Melbourne-based customers may elect collection as a no charge delivery option. Once your order is placed you can contact us to arrange a time to collect your order. 

Delivery

We offer weight-based, flat rate or quoted delivery services for all orders within Australia. All delivery costs are based on ground floor/front door basis, unless stated otherwise. Please note, additional costs are incurred for deliveries where stairs or additional levels are involved.

For weight-based deliveries, delivery estimates on the product page are based on delivery of one item. Purchase of multiple items may place delivery cost into next weight bracket.  

The final cost of your delivery is stated at checkout and is determined by your location and weight. We reserve the right to quote on any orders that we consider to be remote even after the order has been placed. Please contact us if there is any confusion.

Flat Rate Delivery

For items over 5kg we offer flat rate shipping of $200 to Perth, Tasmania and Northern Queensland.

Perth: All deliveries to Perth are a flat-rate of $200. 

North Qld: Our flat-rate service goes as far as Cairns and services only metro locations at a flat-rate of $200. If you live outside of the metro locations shown on the map, please contact us for a quote.

Tasmania: Our flat rate service is state-wide at a rate of $200

Quoted Delivery  

For all remote orders in Qld, WA and NT we offer a quote for shipping service. If you believe you are in a rural location please send us an email. We reserve the right to quote on any orders that we consider remove even after orders have been placed.

Please note that for international deliveries, Plyroom has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the delivery reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable. These customs charges can also cause delays. 

Delivery partners


We partner with many different courier companies depending on item size, availability and delivery location. Once your item has been dispatched we will email you further details including the name of the courier company engaged for delivery of your item and an estimated time for delivery. 

Receiving your order

Items under 5kg may be delivered even if no-one is home. For larger items if there is no one at the delivery address to accept the order a re-delivery charge will apply. This charge varies depending on the size of the item and the distance from the courier base to the delivery address. The courier will leave a calling card to organise another delivery day. 

Door to Door

All deliveries are to your front door only and pricing is based on 1 driver. Couriers cannot assist you to carry the items into your home or position in a room. 
 

Insurance

Plyroom will cover the insurance of your product during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. We require a signature for any bulky goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified for someone else to receive your furniture who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift or a neighbour) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by Plyroom and transfer of responsibility in the same way.
