Wear…

St Agni, based in Byron Bay, is one of our favourite labels crafting handmade leather footwear and women’s clothing in 100% linen and cotton. We’re enamoured by their earthy palettes, simple shapes and humbly luxurious accessories.

Stay…

This summer we’ll be escaping the city heat at the Mornington Peninsular. Slow Beach Cottage at Rye and The Black Cabin at Balnarring are two of our favourite beachside abodes (plus, they both feature Plyroom so we know where we’ll be staying!).

Elevate the everyday…

Many of our daily actions can be classified as habits. Coffee in the morning, shower before work, reading before bed ...What if we reframe these actions as rituals? Our enjoyment in small, simple actions grows.

These holidays we’re delighting in the objects that elevate the most mundane of daily tasks. Asobimasu, hand crafted ceramics made locally in Melbourne are one such example. Tea sipped from the organic edge of an Asobimasu mug is surely more fulfilling than its mass produced counterpart? 

Savour…

From the natural exfoliant of salt and sand on bare feet to eating juicy summer fruits, we’re indulging every sense this summer. We are especially loving the smell of Posie candles (available at our favourite Staple Store) and their Bodha smokeless organic incense. Worth noting at this time of year is Staple Store's fashion subscription service where you can shop consciously without the punch-drunk retail hangover.

Hetty McKinnon from Arthur Street Kitchen was also kind enough to share her recipe for grilled peach salad with mozzarella, basil and honey… just another thing we’ll be savouring this summer.
