The Singolo Single Bed is intentionally simple with a compact visual and environmental footprint. The ideal bed for little ones as they move into a 'big bed' from the cot as well as having appeal long into the teenage years for older children - its minimalist design means it will adapt with changing tastes and styles as your child grows.

The Singolo Bed features a contemporary interpretation of traditional carpentry with precise, interlocking dovetail and mortise and tenon joinery, fastened securely with hand turned oak pins. A distinctive dark edge is the result of the way the pieces of timber are cut and gives a clean, linear look. This combination of light and dark means the Singolo Bed works in spaces with darker timbers as well as more neutral tones.

The Singolo bed is designed to make life as simple as possible. It fits a standard single and king single mattress. Bed-making is a breeze as the mattress sits firm on the base so it's easy to tuck linen in. Its low profile makes even small bedrooms feel more spacious, as well as making young children feel safe. Add extra storage with the Underbed Drawer - use it as a storage space for linen or toys or as a trundle bed for the sleepovers.

Made from birch due to its excellent stability and strength properties, the Singolo comfortably holds 180kg so reading bedtime stories as a family and jumping on the bed is not a problem.

The Singolo Bed is made from sustainably forested birch which is neutral, natural and timeless, as well as having excellent stability and strength properties. Production takes place in a small family-owned business in Northern Italy and is overseen by our collaborator who has decades of passionate manufacturing and design expertise. This bed has been made using environmentally responsible sourcing and manufacturing practices.

Finishes are non toxic and water-based.

A 2 year warranty covers the structural integrity of Plyroom products.

Our warranty covers the replacement or repair of any product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of normal wear and tear, or a natural characteristic of the material used.
