Ikebana Workshop at the Plyroom Studio

  

Last Saturday we hosted our first event at the Plyroom studio - an Ikebana workshop with Shoso Shimbo, celebrated Ikebana master and contemporary floral sculptor. The morning was spent in great company arranging beautiful autumnal flowers and leaves, nibbling pastries, sipping loose leaf tea, and delighting in Shoso’s extensive knowledge on balance, space, form and Japanese aesthetic philosophy. Here is a little video and some photographs from the day.
